Less can be more.
After the remarkable success and widespread acclaim received for the complete beach front Condo Remodel of unit 303 in the autumn of 2021, Pavel & Kimberly Oliva from Manhattan, New York, ventured further and acquired three additional units in the building. They entrusted the Costa Construction Group with the task of completely gutting out and remodeling all three units simultaneously.
Beach Front Condo
Despite the daunting challenge of a narrow three-month timeframe, the final results surpassed all expectations. Maintaining the distinct essence and aesthetic of the original project in Unit 303, the collaboration between clients, interior designer Milena Payne, Durawood Custom Wood furnishings, and the teams from the Costa Construction Group yielded exceptional outcomes. Our objective was to create a cohesive design concept for all units, while imbuing each with subtle distinctions in furnishings, artwork, colors, and materials, to impart a unique identity to each space.
Condo Remodel & Restoration
The iconic Playa Langosta beachfront building, conceived by renowned Costa Rican architect Abraham Valenzuela, whose style and architectural finesse have come to define numerous grand luxury homes in the region, is now undergoing a comprehensive restoration effort to restore its original elegance and value.
Features

This highly sought-after unit features a contemporary open floor plan, encompassing a sleek, custom-designed, state-of-the-art kitchen and island area that seamlessly transitions into an expansive formal dining setting, and extends into the living room entertainment area.
Additionally, this floor level comprises a spacious master bedroom, complete with his and her custom teak wood closets and a generously sized private bathroom, along with a sizable guest bedroom with its own private bathroom. Other amenities include a laundry room, separate guest bathroom, and storage area. The master bedroom and living room offer direct access to expansive ocean-facing balconies through large glass slider doors.
Artwork
To further enhance the ambiance and elevate the property to new heights of sophistication, the clients enlisted the renowned local artist Malu Moreira from Brazil, to create exquisite, one-of-a-kind paintings that harmoniously complement the bespoke designer furniture pieces crafted by the Durawood Furniture Company. The result is a meticulously curated experience for discerning guests, imbuing the property with an air of refined elegance that can only be achieved through the perfect fusion of exceptional art and impeccable design.
